Pegasus Health & Safety was set up by Brian Goodwin in August 2000 to deliver First Aid to staff at a Local Hospital.
Brian spent many years as an Army Medic with the 10th Battalion, Parachute Regiment. His skills and experience were often required to carry out numerous medical procedures as a result of recruits sustaining injuries whilst carrying out their duties.
After leaving the Army, Brian joined the Fire Service and spent 20 years as a Fire Officer. As part of his many duties, Brian’s skills were often in need when saving people from fires and car accidents.
Brian was invited to join Harlow college as a part-time lecturer, where he organised first aid training for the staff and students over the 6 years he work there.
It was during this time he founded the company Pegasus after the name of the Airborne Horse from the Airborne forces.
Using Brian’s considerable knowledge and experience, Pegasus delivers Fire Safety, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Accident prevention courses to Schools, Hospitals, Leisure centre’s, Colleges and all types of businesses
Pegasus was in the final of the Harlow business awards for two years and has continued to work hard to ensure they deliver quality content in a personal way providing great value for money.
Pegasus will be delivering more courses from Safeguarding to Anaphylaxis training for Schools and other organisations so if you need anything, please contact Pegasus to discuss any requirements you have.
